What a treat, just yesterday I saw your name in some Sub Vets stuff! I live in Red Bluff. I haven't finished scouring your great site yet, but I will!

I just recently joined our Veterans group, didn't think there were too many of us around. I only spent about seven months aboard the Atule. I rode her to her Decommissioning berth. The last night at sea, the old Man had a glass of brandy for each of us. It went real well with the burned little weenies that Brunson (Burner) cooked for us! I received my Dolphins and Orders the same day.
